At 10:10 AM, the world changes. Three high-ranking officials are assassinated simultaneously via impossible, curving bullets. For ALISTAIR PETROVA, Director of CIA Science & Technology, this fulfills a prophecy: his wife's vision of three identical flames fighting each other.
​Within Alistair's household, ALISSA PETROVA excels as an FBI tactical investigator, unaware of the "Ghost" in her shadow. Separated at birth by Leo and later found in an orphanage by Alistair, ALYSSA was reconstructed by her father to be Alissa's mirror. Believing she is the "only" daughter, Alyssa performs Alissa's lethal fieldwork. Alistair uses her as a sacrificial shield, never realizing he is sending his own lost daughter into the line of fire to protect her sister.
​LEO, a shapeshifting alien wearing the Vice President's skin, is orchestrating a planetary "Hard Reset." Raised by Leo to believe he is alone in the universe, FELICIAN, the third triplet, is his primary weapon. Conditioned to see the sisters as glitches, Felician unknowingly fights his own blood to power Leo's sequence.
The triplets eventually storm the Blackwood facility, collapsing the portal in a geyser of fire. Safe on a nearby ridge, they begin to celebrate their hard-won victory and the reclamation of their family. Their celebration is cut short when a massive, silent craft touches down in the valley below. From the dust emerges a figure in iridescent armor who removes his helmet to reveal Felician's perfect face. This is the Fourth Flame, a hidden contingency no one knew existed.
