In book five of this seven-book series, LAPD Detective Lt Jeff Chandler is called out to a robbery where the victim was shot dead. He and his husband, robbery detective Mickey Stanton, work together to solve the murder of half of a mystery writing team.
As Jeff interviews friends and family of the victim, he finds a very good motive for the killing. One of the partners had dried up, and lost his creative flair for writing, while his younger, talented partner, wanted to split, to write on his own.
So, the plot thickens!
One problem! Jeff and Mickey's prime suspect has an airtight alibi.
