It's Memorial Day weekend, and my kids wanted to pretend it was Christmas. I didn't care. I just needed them to chill out so I could relax. Spoiler alert: that didn't happen. After stepping on not one but two blocks, I had enough. I put on a movie and lay on the couch, wondering if it was too early to drink. I took a nap snuggling with my husband, which became something I didn't expect but needed. Could I enjoy it, or would the kids interrupt?
