Sometimes the most unexpected journeys begin on an ordinary night.

Ananya Rao is used to navigating New York City alone—late nights, demanding creative work, complicated family expectations, and a life she has carefully built far from the home her parents left behind. Then, on a rainy night aboard the nearly empty M15 bus, she meets Lucas.
