  For one week a year for the last eighteen years, Chayse, and a select few of his Guardian brothers, have been sent to the earth realm to search amongst the humans, some of whom are just as evil as their sworn enemy, the Lykoi, to search for their long-lost Princess.  Why she was hidden here, of all the realms in the cosmos, he'll never understand, but after eighteen years of traveling back and forth to this miserable place, he's all but given up hope that they'll find her. And after this year, it will make no difference, because without one of them to help her through her change, she will die.

So, what were the odds that she'd just happened to walk into the same eating establishment that he randomly picked to stop at only days from the end of their final trip to this realm to search for her?  Apparently, pretty damn good, because that's exactly what she did.  But she wasn't the only thing he found in this small human town.  Somehow, a Lykoi had ended up in the same small town that she'd been hidden in.  Coincidence?  Yeah right.  Now Chayse must choose to either go after his enemy and risk losing her again or confront her and begin the daunting task of convincing her to come back with him and risk being blind-sided by his enemy later.  With only a couple days remaining before their way home closes for good, he can only pray that his choice doesn't come back and bite him in the ass.
