What happens when a story keeps changing what you think it means?
In Puzzle Reading, each story is presented in reverse sentence order. The words remain unchanged, but the ending comes first and the beginning comes last. As readers move through the story, meaning gathers slowly. Assumptions form early, then shift as earlier moments come into view.
This book is for readers ages 10 – 14 who are ready for stories that ask for more attention, more reflection, and more willingness to reconsider first impressions. It addresses the habit of jumping to conclusions too quickly by letting readers experience how easily interpretation changes when context arrives late.
