"You. You're sleeping with her, aren't you?"
Elise's breath caught, a subtle reaction that betrayed her before she could mask it. She opened her mouth to respond, but Holly cut her off, stepping closer, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.
"Don't lie to me. I know what's going on. And if you don't want my dad to know, if you don't want this whole studio to know what kind of person you really are, you'll do exactly what I say."
Elise's eyes narrowed, her composure cracking just enough to reveal the calculation beneath. She crossed her arms, mirroring Holly's stance, but her voice remained calm, almost amused.
"That's a bold accusation, Holly. Be careful what you're implying."
"I'm not implying anything," Holly snapped, her hands clenching into fists.
"I'm telling you I know. And unless you want me to tell everyone. My dad, the other dancers, the scholarship committee. If you want me to keep quiet, you-you're going to do something for me. Right now."
Her gaze was unyielding, her youthful features hardened by a borrowed resolve that made her look older, fiercer, than her recent twenty years.
Elise tilted her head, studying Holly with a mix of wariness and curiosity.
"And… What do you want, Holly?" she asked, her voice soft but edged, as if testing the boundaries.
Her lips hovered near Holly's ear, her breath a warm caress that sent shivers down Holly's spine.
"You're so tense, Holly," she murmured, her voice a sultry lullaby. "Let me show you how good it can feel. Just like Claire."
Holly's knees weakened, a soft whimper escaping her lips.
