I have experienced hardship being poor as a child. I have never experienced the hopelessness of being homeless.
I could not imagine living on the street where each person would have to face the day to day difficulties of just getting up with the sun each morning and then trying to be positive about the day ahead.
I realised after several encounters with homless people that they were mostly worried and scared about what will come their way next.
For some of them I decided to be their "next".
This book describes my personal experiences expressed in verse.
