The animals of Cozy Woods have been happily preparing for the annual Flower Festival. Little Maple Mouse has been hungrily looking at all the delicious food that his family has collected for the feast. Surely if he takes just a little nibble, nobody will notice. But the little nibble was not so little after all, and Maple hatches a secret plan to go foraging to replace the food. On his adventures, he visits the homes of the Hedgehogs, Squirrels, Rabbits, and Beavers. Maple is gone a long time, and the Mouse family starts to worry.
