Year 2126. Humanity survived a devastating epidemic, but the price of survival forever changed the way people love, live, and bring new generations into the world.

Natural reproduction is now a thing of the past. To ensure the survival of the human race, the government created the Genesis Program: sophisticated humanoids, virtually indistinguishable from humans, are assigned to citizens as reproductive partners.

When twenty-seven-year-old Julian Cross finally receives his assignment, he expects a female humanoid to arrive at his door.

But Genesis has made a mistake.

The delivery capsule opens to reveal Noah, an imposing male humanoid with an almost perfect appearance, engineered to be strong, attractive, and biologically compatible with human reproduction.

Julian should simply send him back.

At least, that's what protocol requires.

But Noah doesn't behave like a machine. He's curious, witty, unexpectedly gentle, and with each passing day, he seems to develop tastes, desires, and preferences no one ever programmed into him. What begins as simple curiosity soon turns into companionship, then attraction, and finally into something Julian never imagined he could feel.

And Noah seems to feel it too.

But there is one question neither of them can answer: Can an artificial being truly choose whom to love?

When the government discovers the assignment error and orders Noah's immediate recovery, Julian must make a choice. Turn Noah over and allow Genesis to erase everything he has become—or break the law to protect someone the government doesn't even consider a person.

Julian chooses Noah.

Their escape takes them far from the city, into isolated hideaways where the bond between human and humanoid grows deeper. But the arrival of Liam, a second cyborg from Genesis whose engineered body is nearly identical to Noah's except for his face, will change everything once again.

Because Liam, too, is beginning to discover something he was never supposed to possess:

the freedom to choose.

And as Genesis closes in, Julian, Noah, and Liam find themselves bound by an unexpected connection, forced to defend not only their freedom, but their very right to decide who they are—and whom they love.

Cyborg in Love is an LGBTQ+ MM science-fiction romance blending love, suspense, sensuality, and artificial intelligence in a story about freedom, identity, and the increasingly fragile line between being programmed to love and being truly capable of it.
