He himself spent three years in psychoanalysis in NYC, and taught and practiced in New York and Connecticut, He was director of the Orange County Mental Health Center, NY, the Greenwich Hospital Mental Health Services, CT, and the Lewis County Mental Health Center, NY, before accepting a position at Queen's University, Ontario, as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, as well as a position at the Wellness Centre.
