The Galactic Resource Conglomerate wasn't satisfied with their exclusive access to the helenium in the Maduro Sector, so they made a foolhardy deal with the devil—the Badaax. In exchange for a nearly unlimited energy source found only in the Badaax home world, they offered human clones produced in a facility on the planet Maltaan.
