A previous affair ended badly, but it left Annie with her beloved son. Now Jamie is old enough for day care, and Annie is going back to work – in the gynaecology department of Belfield Infirmary. As a single mom and a junior doctor, Annie has enough to worry about. Having to keep her son a secret at work makes it worse. But she'd be coping just fine if not for the interested, interfering, irresistible Gideon Caldwell.
