Martin Otto's life has been shaped by extraordinary experiences across four continents and nearly as many careers. Ordained after theological studies, he embarked on missionary work in South America before pursuing careers in aviation, travel, and translation. A gifted linguist fluent in seven languages, he eventually returned to university and earned a Master of Education degree. He now teaches French, Spanish, and Italian at a university in New York City.
