This book is based on the American method of face reading.
Personology is a fascinating face reading method, but unlike traditional Asian techniques (such as China's Mian Xiang), it was developed in the United States during the 20th century and aims to be a much more technical, statistical, and applied approach.
Personology is not based on mysticism or "reading energy." Its fundamental principle is biological and mechanical: physical structure determines or reflects function.
Just as an athlete with long, muscular legs is genetically predisposed to running, personology argues that the bony and muscular structure of the face reflects how the brain processes information and reacts to the environment. It is viewed as a "genetic map" of a person's behavioral potential.
Unlike other branches of face reading that promise to predict your "destiny" or luck, American personology is purely pragmatic. So this book is for Recruitment and HR: To understand whether a candidate's innate profile aligns with the job requirements (for instance, if they have the "traits" of a negotiator or an analyst).
