From Soldier to Doctor - A Journey Through Life of Hardship & Hard Work

I started my career with uncertainty because all I wanted was to see myself being an architect. I landed in the medical field by default because I did not want to see myself sitting at home doing nothing. What I was never prepared for was the hardships that I was going to go through in my career, to achieve what I have achieved so far. I did not know that I would have so many stumbling blocks that I had to go through, starting with the apartheid system, jealous colleagues, rigid system and individuals who did not want to see me succeed and progress as an individual.

This book is meant to encourage those that feel that the paths they are travelling are difficult and they cannot make it. It showcases the hardships that I experienced and how I navigated through them. I am sharing my personal experience to show people that everything you put your mind to, is rather possible to achieve and one should never give up, especially if you set yourself out to achieve what you plan to achieve. I believe that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it.
