Norman is a successful businessman who is searching for a happier life. A life where he isn't fighting with his scheming business partner, his manipulative ex-wife, his freeloading stepson, or his sponging brother. When Norm suffers from a minor accident, he is inspired to attempt to seek brief solitude by feigning amnesia.
Having people believe he is injured worse than he is does provide a measure of reduced stress. However, believing Norm has lost his memory, his friends quickly divide themselves into two groups; those who want to help Norm recover and those who want to take advantage of his situation.
