GOTIQVANTICA (VERSION ANGLAISE)

It cites diverse European Gothic cathedrals to illustrate the esoteric language of symbols, geometry, statuary, proportions or orientation. It so happens that this language derives from the knowledge of ancient civilisations, in particular Celtic, Egyptian, Hebrew, Greek, Suf or Hindu. The writer literally takes the reader by the hand through the space within the walls of the cathedral, stops at different parts of the building to explain the meanings, hidden or not. The reader discovers that the cathedral is an invitation to discover, as experienced by the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela, and like in the legend of King Arthur in his quest of the Graal. The Gothic cathedral is the Path to wisdom with Love as the fnal destination. This road to Enlightenment is accomplished through successive steps, each step corresponding to an ascensional stage of purifcation which prepares us to enter the other world, a world free of matter and where Unconditional Love rules. This spiritual teaching seems to coincide with discoveries in quantum physics, with recent medical research on the brain, and are corroborated by testimonies of near-death experiences.Ultimately the essence of the teaching offered by the Gothic cathedral lies in its space, in its void. A void resembling a resonance chamber built in a way akin to our Universe, in which we evolve and which produces a Permanent Sound. We are living through a new era where Spirituality and Science seem to have the same visualisation of the Universe, Life, Death and the Afterlife.
