My goal in writing "Green Skills Revolution: How TVET Can Power the Transition to a Sustainable green Economy" is to spark discussion about how Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) might be used to develop a workforce that is sustainable and skilled. Academicians, leaders, and decision- makers, international organizations involved in constructing the future of education and workforce development are the targeted audience for this book. It is intended for people who appreciate that education should be in line with national demands and who are keen to understand how incorporating green skills into the curriculum can promote sustainable and long-term growth. This book provides the road-map to prepare today's workforce for tomorrow's green economy — through TVET, skills, and innovation.
In order to ensure that skills and knowledge are passed down to the next generation, I hope that this book will be a foundation of integrating green practices in Technical Education and a path to support the systematic implementation of green practices in TVET systems. The production of a green workforce is necessary
to address issues like climate change and environmental degradation while also demonstrating a method to provide individuals the skills they need to capitalize on this change in our country's economy.
