There are many realms and in-between them, the abyss, the underworld, the surface world, limbo, purgatory and heaven. Magical beings from different systems, like The Supreme One, Lucifer, Zeus and many others, inhabit these worlds.
Transcendents, the most magical of humans, have an ability to move between realms. Left unchecked, this could destroy the universe. Eve is tasked with identifying the transcendents and sending them to The Abyss.
