I suppose it was all my fault, we hadn't been married long and I wanted her to have some friends. Marisol had just arrived in the UK from the Philippines and met another Filipino, Cassandra in the shopping centre. They seemed to get on really well and I actually encouraged her when she asked if she could spend the day at Cassandra house. She said there were going to be quite a few Filipinos there and she might make some new friends.
Cassandra was also married to a Brit like myself and I assumed she was in her early thirties like myself. Her husband was much older and in his late fifties but seemed friendly enough when they picked Marisol up. They lived in the next village and said they would pick her up and I was to bring her home at about 9 p.m.
However, as the weeks progressed, it was quite obvious that something else was going on...!
