Welcome to first bible study in The Secret Place: For a Life in Bloom series.

I'm so glad you're here.

Before we begin, I just want to say this: you don't have to have everything figured out to be here. You don't need a perfect prayer life, a theology degree, or some kind of spotless faith journey. All you need is a willing heart and a little bit of curiosity—curiosity about who God is, how He works, and how we begin to really know Him.

This first study asks one of the most important, intimate, and beautiful questions we can explore as believers or seekers:

How does a relationship with God begin?

Maybe you've asked this quietly in your heart. Maybe you've been walking with Him for a while, but something in you is longing to return to the roots—to rediscover how it all started. Or maybe you're new to faith and wondering: how does someone like me even begin this kind of relationship?

In this study, we'll explore the many ways God draws people to Himself—through love, longing, conviction, quiet moments, and even through our doubts and messes. We'll look at scripture stories, reflect on how God gently initiates relationship, and see that the beginning always starts with His invitation.

You'll find a few things in every study:
