Helen runs a bakeshop. She's independent, old-fashioned, and hard-working. Her tiny apartment above the bakery provides a cocoon when she's not adding a pinch of this or a splash of that. The little old Italian man that owns the building where she lives and works is sweet, but his family is trying to oust Helen. And she's no stranger to being ousted. In a previous life, her ex-boyfriend's family did much the same. A thick skin has left her turning the other cheek, until a tragedy strikes and Helen has no choice but to face the music. Judd is a broken-hearted business consultant extraordinaire. He's hoisted run-down businesses to their highest potential without breaking a sweat.
