17 year old Elaina Harper has had a hard life bouncing from foster home to foster home since the young age of eight while carrying the guilt of her parents death on her back until her current foster parents ship her away to boarding school for misbehaving in school all of the time, Elaina believes that everyone she comes to care about is ruined because of her and she tries to steer clear of feelings until him.
