"I'm A Black Cat And I Sit In A Windowsill" is a short story taken from the point of view of a black cat. Living in an apartment with its owner, the cat finds itself alone one day in its favourite place; the windowsill. Its thoughts drift between its present and past lives, and curiosity hits when the subject of its old home comes into focus. But, as all humans know, curiosity killed the cat.
This book highlights the ideals of existentialism, and the questioning of one's existence and memory. It aims to explore the thought process of an animal in a way humans can understand, while still following a realistic perception and explanation for its actions.
