After a series of mysterious mishaps, a deep space explorer was forced to land on what they believed to be an uninhabited world, the planet of Alloca. Far from Mother Earth, the explorers were determined to survive and grow their small population. The Presidential Council decided to adopt a master policy. Through forced interracial marriages, they would create a single race of people. The Council's rigid policies and regimental control was unchallenged. In an effort to escape the rules of the Council, Carrie's father and a group of other mavericks left the New World City settlement and relocated to a new town, Arapmo miles away. Now the Council has decided to exert control and reign in this breakaway town. Carrie was ordered to return to the colonist main town of New World City for an arranged marriage to a total stranger. Arapmo does not have the resources or people to oppose the Council, and resisting the council's plan could mean war.
Carrie was convinced she did not have a choice, until she was kidnapped then rescued by an alien.
