So many biographies start off with 'I remember as a small child…etc'. But what if subconscious memory goes much further back, perhaps even into the womb. This book is a very intimate, and personal exploration of when consciousness actually begins. It also reveals my own personal in-utero trauma, and how that may have impacted my entire life. My mother came down with severe polio while 4 months pregnant with me. She was 'ordered to have an abortion.' You'll have to read the book to see how she fought back against extreme medical authority. Abortion is still such a controversial topic..when does life begin…what life is more important, the mother or the unborn? All I can really say about it is that I was supposed to be aborted due to my mother's polio at the time of her pregnancy. And I for one, am glad I'm here!
