To Live a Life of Purpose
Today we live in an atmosphere of noise and clamor. There is a lot of shouting but not much listening. Important conversations often turn toxic without achieving resolution. Sadly, the Christian perspective is dismissed by an ever-increasing percentage of the population.
The easiest path is to quiet our voices. To retreat into silence. To off end less. But is that the answer? I believe we need to reevaluate our commitment to truth and love. We need to become more biblically literate so that we have something legitimate to say. We also need to communicate with a heart motivation that reflects God's feelings as well as His thoughts.
We must understand His goodness
This is why a biblical study of God's goodness is so important. This one incredible attribute of God is so foundational and restorative that it can literally repair a broken culture. If we can embrace it and reflect it, we will fulfill our destiny as a "light of the world."
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
