Despite the pain of knowing the child should have been his, he is determined to provide Thomas everything he is deserved had he been born the true son of the Seelie King and Queen.
But, like all of Gabriel's intentions, this too backfires and not only pushes Celeste away further but also leaves him fighting for his life while Thomas has gone missing. He knows Celeste will not take caution to save her son.
