After the Great Turmoil, a global cataclysmic event driven by hysteria from online misinformation, the Country of Renescentia rises. There, we meet a motley crew: Canard, a laid-off tech worker whose job was lost to AI; Fayad, an immigrant from the ideologically opposed Heartlands; Rosa, an influencer banned from the Socials; and Allan, a neurodiverse cyclone of fun.

Together, this group is led by Dr. Grover, a wily scientist with an ax to grind against the reckless, unregulated growth of a new artificial intelligence—MAGGI. "She" was made in the image of her AI grandmother… the same one who propelled the global meltdown years earlier.

With their young country's economic and political stability at stake, the team must work together to destroy MAGGI by using influence campaigns and misinformation attacks. Will the group succeed, or will history, along with the Great Turmoil of 2038, repeat itself?
