A scientist studying the structure of our universe faces a ban on knowledge. He decides to abandon his research to avoid putting his life in danger. But the mystery that has arisen haunts him. He begins new research, trying to understand who or what is blocking his path. Through trial and error, he comes to the conclusion that magic can be used to study the processes at work in the universe. He chooses the magical name Dallan and begins his research in the field of magic. While studying magic, Dallan comes to the conclusion that no miracles occur after performing a magical ritual. Events simply align in such a way that a wish is granted.
At first, he performs simple magical rituals, perfecting his craft. He discovers that the Elements in magic represent the fundamental laws operating in our Universe. Thus, Earth represents gravity, Water represents electromagnetic interaction, Air represents the weak nuclear force, and Fire represents the strong nuclear force. All that remains is to understand the Fifth Essence—the Quintessence. But events unfold in such a way that he finds himself drawn into various situations and is forced to perform magical rituals to help people or to emerge from these events unharmed.
While exploring the laws of magic, Dallan encountered forces that control human actions and prohibit certain knowledge that could harm the universe. These forces are the Forerunners. They control the activity of the mind on Earth to prevent it from destroying itself and to ensure that it achieves its intended goal.
