Snarl is a wizard who has tucked herself away from the world for a century, living in a flying palace and keeping watch over a hibernating, powerful creature. She's done nothing but study magic and watch her heart shrivel more each day as the dangerous sorcery she practices threatens to twist her into something else entirely.
But everything changes when Darsha is cursed by the Bone Witch to float up into the sky. Believing she's going to die, Darsha instead finds herself bumping into the bottom of a flying palace. It's there she meets Snarl, and the two find commonality in their preferred method of handling life's problems.
Will they keep running, or will Snarl and Darsha find a way to break their curses once and for all?
