Wayne Bradford is a typical 7½ year old boy in 1979. He loves all things Star Wars, snow at Christmas, and pizza without the pepperonis.

Wayne's done his best to be a super good boy all year in hopes Santa Claus will bring every toy he put in the letter he mailed to the North Pole.

But on the last day of school before Christmas Vacation, Wayne has a run in with the class bully.

Not wanting nor knowing how to fight, there's one way Wayne can only avoid getting beat up.

When school returns he e can give the bully his most prized new toy — a large size Darth Vader action figure.

During the two-week holiday break Wayne will seek advice from his World War II veteran grandfather, his cool as the Fonz teenage cousin, and his second grader best friends with expertise in the laws of the playground jungle.
