When Jett Cooper's father, Jack, tells him that the first Blue Wolf Junior Air Competition will be held at their outback Air Show, Jett is all in – as long as his best friend, Ella Tao, is too. But after Jack's accident, Jett's mum bans 'everything flying'.

Jett lives to fly. He knows he can win the Blue Wolf competition, as well as a scholarship to the prestigious Flying Academy, if only his mum lets him fly again.

But Mum is dealing with her grief, selling Jack's flying school to a mysterious buyer, and handling Jett's not-so-secret visits to the Flying Club when he should be in class. If she catches Jett at the air show, she'll send him to boarding school.
