When 17-year-old Kyle Richmond first met his friend Kristi's mom, Julie Kouriakis, he was struck by a strange feeling. He wanted her more than any woman or girl he had ever met. Yet he was also envious of the way everything seemed to come easy to someone who was so beautiful and so charming. As a lonely, forgotten middle child whose parents were getting set to move him out of town, Mrs. K seemed to have a perfect life.
Then one morning he woke up... in her body. And she makes it clear, she never intends to put things right. Now Kyle is wearing dresses, watching makeup tutorials, being pursued by men and trying to find time to parent two kids who can never know his secret. The young man discovers there is so much more to being a woman, an adult, and a mother, than he ever imagined. What's more, he discovers there is far more to him than he ever thought, as he grapples with strange new feelings and instincts.
