ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr Maureen Ledibane holds a PhD in Curriculum Development from the NWU, Potchefstroom Campus; an MA degree in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) in the United States of America, sponsored by the Educational Opportunities Council (EOC); and a BA degree and Higher Education Diploma (HED) from the University of Limpopo, Turfloop Campus.

Dr Ledibane is passionate about training Mathematics teachers to teach Mathematics as a second language, enabling learners to understand and acquire it effectively and ultimately perform as well in Mathematics as they do in ESL/EFAL.
