It's a book of poems I wrote in a little over two weeks because that's a thing I do for midyear.
June 18th - July 3rd I wrote upbeat poems about citrus, my mixed feelings about salad and spicy foods, I waxed poetic about microwave pizza; there's a lot of stuff. Seriously, this project started out so upbeat and whimsical and then I started talking about childhood trauma? But then it went back to upbeat? And then I got angry about insidious labor practices?
Everything I've mentioned is from poems about food, I did not veer off course!
Except in one bonus poem, but that's a bonus poem and it wasn't technically a part of this project!
I'm very tired. Enjoy my words and doodles.
