My name is Goodman Velaphi Moyane from Pienaar, I'm 30 years old and I am living with a disability as a paraplegic I come from a disadvantaged family, I was raised by both parents however my mother passed on when I was 6 years old, ever since then my father has been a single parent. He raised my siblings and I. My father worked as a bricklayer and in 2000 after the death of my mother, he got a stroke. It was hard, everything changed because all along he was our breadwinner. My book talks about my journey, what I've been through. It has been a roller coaster, at some point, I got sick, ended up using a wheelchair. When I was still walking with my own two legs I was able to do normal work and normal things but all that has changed. It had a huge impact on my life as I can't work now due to my condition. That's my motivation as an author, It's also a way of generating income. It's very rare to find committed people who are living with disabilities, I don't have qualifications yet but I am a dreamer and I believe that all that will be a reality. I'm longing for better days
