Love Always Wins

Major Ricky Jackson, an F-16 pilot in the Air Force National Guard, maintains a civilian life working for Bain Capital in Boston, Massachusetts. After suffering wounds from a suicide attack in Afghanistan, he returns home to the tragic loss of his wife and child. With the help of his family and friends, he begins a journey of healing and acceptance, one that crosses paths with a beautiful Irish woman.
Samantha O'Dwyer has also dealt with the loss of a loved one. A miscarriage right out of nursing school has put into question whether she can ever have children. The thought of never having a child destroys her self-worth. The inability to have meaningful relationships is the sad consequence until one day she meets her new neighbor, Ricky. There is a spark that happens almost immediately but isn't really discovered until they both come to terms with their past.
Their ability to understand pain associated with personal tragedy creates a level of compassion one would not know otherwise. Two people, who from the outside, appear to have perfect lives. In reality, they have been shaken to the core and see little hope for happiness. Their despair ultimately helps them find what they would have never found in life without experiencing this journey. The special bond they have translates into a passion very few couples ever experience. It defines their relationship and gives reason for what they have endured.
