"That's a terrible pep talk."

Athena stuck her tongue out at her boyfriend. "But I'm a girl and what the hell do I know? Besides, you're getting something different than me."

"I'm insane."

She nodded her head. "I felt the same way. But after getting my piercings done and serving for a few years, I realized it was just a way to release the actual me inside the outside me."

"That's not a great comfort."

A shrug was her response. "You started this. Not me."

"Actually, you started it…I just got on the train that was already running." Ethan looked at the door.
