 My mind was a labyrinth of intrusive, ruminating, recurring, and even fatalistic thoughts, where the bottle of alcohol seemed to be my only companion, my only solace in a world that seemed to have turned against me. Her words still echoed in my mind, like an echo of pain and rejection. "You're not enough for me." Tears fell uncontrollably, as I felt drowned in a sea of sadness and despair.

The images of us together, of moments of bliss and glory that now seem like lies. Codependency had been my prison, and now I found myself alone, not knowing how to escape my own demons.

My past was a weight that crushed me, an overprotective childhood that had left me with no tools to face life. Low self-esteem had always been with me, like a stubbornness I couldn't shake…

Now, I found myself on the edge of the sinkhole, tempted to jump, as if the devil were whispering in my ear, shouting, "Jump," as time ran out to decree my death.
