An academic and a rock star clash over a music festival in this charming second chance romance.
Rock star Noah Kato is working overtime in order to bring an enormous music festival to Love Hollow, his little Idaho hometown. After years of success in LA, he's getting tired of the lifestyle, and he's hoping a change will help. But financial problems and family troubles threaten to bring the whole thing down.
Meanwhile, failed PhD candidate Aya Hanson has taken over the tiny museum that memorializes Love Hollow's infamous WWI-era Japanese-American internment camp. Noah's and Aya's grandparents were both in that same camp, but Noah doesn't seem to care that his music festival is messing up the museum's biggest fundraiser.
As Noah and Aya clash, both try not to think about the cringeworthy mutual crush they both insist ended after high school. But as summer heats up, these two would-be enemies have a harder time insisting that they've broken from the past.
