After Regal was resurrected, clans, breeds and packs alike came together to celebrate a prophecy coming true and the wedding ceremony the real beauty and the beast becoming one. Seven tries to adjust to her new position as a wife to a demigod, while Regal is busy criss-crossing the globe to keep the peace. Friendships and loyalties are shifted when the new government is rising. Abandoned children cling to Seven and Regal in the mix of it all, which leaves the Pack at odds the most. Other officials are looking to test Regal, just to see if he is as powerful as others claim he is. There are new additions to the families that bring a new meaning to the word "value". Meanwhile, Cat is left shattered when what little innocence she has left is snatched away by a Vampire.
It leaves Regal craving for a fresh kill that he hadn't had since long before his marriage. Though he has tried to keep his focus, his temper under control, and the flames of his marriage blazing, he has no choice but to revert to being the Savage that they all once knew.
Only, when the smoke clears, it's hard to tell if the Lycans are victorious, or if they have suffered a major loss at the expense of their egos.
