A group of artists transform a YWCA into an artist in residency program. When funds are depleted a Baptist minister purchases the business. Worried about the possibility of the pastor implementing censorship policies, an artist rips up a bible to test him. Street protests erupt calling for the removal of the piece. A five year legal battle is played out after the destruction in the dead of night of the controversial art. This mostly true story takes place at the International Arts Center in Tucson, Az. The story explores the battle for free expression, control of narrative, and the boundaries of art.
