I was in a nursing home for ten years. The state of Massachusetts promised that they would move me into a medical group home. Attentive CNAs, meal planning, outside activities, no behavioral problems, individual rooms and more. The truth is very, very far from the actual experience. Abuse and neglect and medical errors are daily occurrences. The end of my life is horrible and I had to write this to save a family, relative or individual from my life in hell at a medical group home.
