Needing to decompress a little, I decided to check out the Thirteen Nights of Halloween celebration at the hot new bar in town. Little did I know, my last-minute decision would change my life forever.

One look at the curvy little witch tending bar and I feel like I've taken a two-by-four right between my eyes. It's really unfortunate for me that my soulmate doesn't seem to have the same affliction. In fact, Romi Dobson pretty much rebuffs all my attempts to flirt with her.

Not one to give up easily, I decide there's only one thing left for me to do—I'll spend every single night at the bar until the stubborn little bar manager finally realizes I'm not giving up.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm having a hard time resisting the hottie, dressed up like a vampire, who keeps showing up at Trick or Treat night after night.

In fact, I'm tempted to throw my I don't date customers rule right out the window and jump his yummy bones, but something holds me back.

I've heard all the stories of the insane number of love at first sight matches happening all around this area and I want that for myself.

Since I'm not willing to settle for less than a fairytale love story and he's not willing to give up his pursuit, I guess we'll just have to see who wins this battle of wills.
