Hey! I'm Ethan. Recently dumped by the love of my life, four weeks before Christmas, I have never felt more alone. Carrie. Just saying her name fills me with joy and love, but then — BOOM.

Pain and heartbreak. I suppose I should tell you before we get too close. I was planning on asking her to marry me on Christmas Eve. Cliche, I know, but what else was there that I could give her I hadn't before? I had spoiled her rotten over the two years we'd spent together.
