Nora has had many problems at the Baltimore, Blake, and Boone Law Firm. Working for Mr. Baltimore is easy enough because he doesn't speak to many of the employees. Being the CEO of the company could afford him that, however when Nora keeps running into all manner of issues Mr. Baltimore is always to her rescue. When Nora has an even bigger issue with a partner at the firm Nora contemplates her career there regardless of her building feelings for Mr. Baltimore.
Being a charming and calculating man, Mr. Baltimore doesn't have to do much to get attention but when a temp is hired for him, he is instantly besotted by her. Remaining cool he keeps his distance but picks up on opportunities to come to her aid when he'd normally never do such a thing.
