Carter Reynolds has come to 1908 Oklahoma to meet the love of her life. So has Garrett Carter. Both soon learn they've been lied to by people they found in the Matrimonial News. However, they take a liking to each other and fall in love.
The fun starts when Carter brings her out of control, profane twelve year old daughter Sarah to Oklahoma from New York. Sarah, who does NOT like Oklahoma at all, has one saving grace....a brilliant legal mind. What she manages to do with it amazes everyone from her teacher to the president of the state Bar Association.
A somewhat romantic story, laced with lots of comedy and plenty of court trials. Even Al Capone stops by for a visit. A little language, some minor violence here and there.
