Containing more than two hundred distinct features, the formation displays layered overhangs, cavern-like recesses, cupule-like depressions, and a striking central "sculptural element" that draws the eye much like the focal point of an outdoor sanctuary. The site evokes the feeling of a cave turned inside out, revealing complex shapes and flowing forms in full daylight.

The work examines these features through careful documentation and through the lens of Eastern Woodland Cosmology. While not offering archaeological proof of human modification, the study considers how Indigenous viewers—living deeply attuned to the land—might have read meaning in such a place. Arrowheads recovered from the bluff top and the presence of nearby mounds suggest a cultural landscape in which this formation may have held significance.
